This quote applies to many different things in life.

Just as a muscle will not grow if it is not worked out beyond the point at which it is used to enduring.

On the other hand if you subject a muscle to excessive demand, you risk injury but you also gain the rewards of being able to endure more physical demand after recovery.

When learning something new in life and in business, it may feel weird and unnatural at first but if you endure this state at which you feel out of place, you’ll grow above and beyond the place that you were at previously in life.

I guess it can’t be said any simpler than that.

Sometimes as entrepreneurs we tend to take things a little too seriously and end up getting all hung up and hosed from stress.

While sometimes you might think, as an entrepreneur, “the person saying that hasn’t walked a mile in my shoes”, because it’s something so easy to say when you’ve got an important project on the line or some kind of deadline you’re trying to meet.

Yeah that project or deadline might be pretty serious but how serious is your health and vitality to you?

Sometimes when others are not taking the project at hand as serious as you are, don’t get hung up. Walk away from it for a few hours or days, if you have time to, come back to it with a fresh perspective.

That’ll help you to think more clearly and more creatively. The upside is that you’ll get better results.

Dang. Here’s a perfect, short and concise, quote that distinguishes entrepreneurs from the rest. If you’re an entrepreneur reading this you’ll probably ‘get it’ as it will resonate with you.

If you’re not an entrepreneur then you most likely won’t get it.

A product without a buyer or a user is dead in the water.

There’s an old saying that goes something like “grab the bull by the horns”

Metaphorically speaking: take control of your business and life or something else will.
